Our Story

Every Band has a beginning. The beginning for Over The Limit came from Doug and Kenny getting together and deciding to put together the band that has evolved over the years into what it has become now. Nine years later and still going strong. Below we will introduce you to the members of the band. With a short bio on each member.

Doug Laidig

Lead Singer,

Doug brings a wealth of singing. Doug's sound is a mixture style of Jason Aldean and Brantley Gilbert, having competed in the Texaco Country Showdown and having sung in Nashville and with many other bands. Doug is also a founding member of Over The Limit

Kenny King

Guitar Player,

Kenny brings a wealth of guitar playing to the band. Kenny has played in all styles of bands and has been the leading guitar force behind many and is the founding member to Over The Limit. You won't find a better guitar player than Kenny King.

Tom Brantley

Drummer, Singer.

Tom brings an amazing talent as the drummer to Over The Limit. Tom has played with many great country stars as well as performed and recorded in Muscle Shoals recording studio.

John Bunger

Bass Player.

John is the man that puts down the groove for the band. John came from ROCK roots to now rockin country. John has this style that fits in so well with the band.

Hyland Morse

Guitar Player.

Hyland comes to the band as the most recent member. Hyland has played with many different country and rock bands over the years and enjoys playing new country, looking to have a great time playing music with Over The Limit.
